In-House Laboratory Testing (9 Core Tests)

ASTM D638In-House Lab

Tensile Strength & Elongation at Break

Measures ultimate mechanical pulling resistance and ductility before break. Essential for load-bearing fan blades and structural housings.

Standard Measurement Unit:MPa / %
ASTM D790In-House Lab

Flexural Modulus & Flexural Strength

Evaluates structural rigidity and deflection resistance under continuous bending loads, preventing blade sag in dynamic air handling parts.

Standard Measurement Unit:MPa
ASTM D256In-House Lab

Izod Impact Resistance (Notched & Unnotched)

Determines the compound’s toughness and energy absorption under abrupt shock or drop impacts in stress-concentrated geometries.

Standard Measurement Unit:J/m
ASTM D1525In-House Lab

Vicat Softening Point (VSP)

Assesses the thermal threshold at which the polymer matrix loses surface stiffness when subjected to localized thermal loads.

Standard Measurement Unit:°C (10N / 50N)
ASTM D1238In-House Lab

Melt Flow Index (MFI)

Measures polymer melt flow rate and viscosity. The foundational baseline test for consistent mold-filling and cycle time stability.

Standard Measurement Unit:g/10 min
ASTM D792In-House Lab

Specific Gravity & Density

Verifies compound density to ensure correct polymer-to-reinforcement ratios and prevent part weight discrepancies.

Standard Measurement Unit:g/cm³
ASTM D5630In-House Lab

Ash Content & Glass Fibre Fraction

Loss-on-ignition test accurately measures inorganic filler loading (glass fibre and mineral fillers) across production lots.

Standard Measurement Unit:% wt
ASTM D6980In-House Lab

Moisture Content Analysis

Monitors residual moisture in hygroscopic compounds (PA6, PA66, ABS, PC) to eliminate splay marks and hydrolytic degradation.

Standard Measurement Unit:% wt
UL 94In-House Lab

Flammability (UL 94)

Evaluates afterflame duration, self-extinguishing behavior, and flaming drip prevention for electrical housings and appliance components.

Standard Measurement Unit:Rating @ Thickness (UL 94 V-0, V-1)
Documentation & Traceability

Batch Quality Documentation & Test Reports

Laboratory test reports and Certificates of Analysis (CoA) can be generated for customer-specified production campaigns, detailing measured physical, thermal, and mechanical values aligned with agreed purchase specifications.

01. Mechanical & Physical

Verification of tensile strength, flexural modulus, Izod impact resistance, and specific gravity under ASTM test standards.

02. Thermal & Rheology

Melt Flow Index (MFI) at specified temperature and load conditions, moisture analysis, and Vicat softening temperature.

03. Reinforcement & Ash

High-temperature muffle furnace ash verification to confirm exact glass fibre and mineral filler percentage loading.
