Polimatrix offers Glass Filled SAN compounds across a customizable 10% to 30% glass loading range (including standard SAN GF10, SAN GF20, and SAN GF30 grades). They are engineered primarily for air conditioner fan components — cross-flow fans and tangential blowers — and structural housings where glass reinforcement provides the stiffness, rigidity, and dimensional stability required for high-RPM operation and tight tolerances.

PC-ASA is an alloy of Polycarbonate and ASA, combining PC’s toughness with ASA’s weatherability — used for automotive exterior trim that has to survive sun and rain without degrading.

ABS is not weather-stable — it tends to yellow and go brittle in sunlight. ASA is a similar styrenic plastic engineered specifically for UV and weather resistance, making it the better choice for outdoor or exterior parts.

FR stands for Flame Retardant — an additive package built into a compound so a moulded part resists ignition and self-extinguishes rather than continuing to burn, rated to recognised flammability standards.
